organic industry

i've been meaning to post this organic industry food chart for awhile. good to know where your money is ultimately going. clearly i still support many of the organic companies, but it makes me think a bit more when i'm at the store.

fantastic awkwardness

last night i went to tapes n tapes. it was without a doubt the most fantastically awkward show i have ever been to. they were even more awkward than the last time i saw them. it was like watching a social experiment. plus people in boston are so awkward. so there was just fantastic awkwardness every where. like from the guy who plays some sort of not at all real electronic keyboard but mostly just stands there and shakes what looks like a kindergarten art project. or that kid who plays the drums that julie had class with who kendra said she would believe was an alien if he said so. anyway appreciate this photo that captures some of the awkwardness.

roosters feet are always dirty

god why are my feet always so dirty? it's not even summer! i wash them in the shower and during the day there are shoes on them but THEY ARE STILL SO DIRTY
